This page explains how to apply for a place at All Saints Church of England Primary School, including first-time Reception admissions, in-year admissions and admission appeals.
First-Time Admissions: Reception Places
Applications for children starting Reception are coordinated by Leicestershire County Council.

The closing date for Reception applications for children starting school in September 2026 was 15 January 2026. Parents and carers are notified of the outcome by the local authority on the national offer date.

In-Year Admissions
An in-year admission is an application for a school place outside the normal Reception admissions round. This includes applications to move school during the school year, or to join the school in a year group other than Reception.

The school no longer processes in-year admissions through the local authority.

The admission authority aims to inform parents and carers of the outcome within 10 school days. In line with the School Admissions Code, a decision must be communicated within 15 school days.
Admission Appeals
Parents and carers have the right to appeal if an application for a school place is refused.
Admission appeals for All Saints are administered by the Leicester Diocesan Board of Education.

The appeal timetable includes appeal hearing dates, deadlines for lodging appeals, and deadlines for school evidence.
Parents and carers will receive at least 10 school days’ notice of their appeal hearing. Any additional evidence should be submitted by the deadline provided by the appeals service. Appeal papers will be circulated to the panel and parties before the hearing. Decision letters will be sent within 5 school days of the hearing wherever possible.
