School Uniform

Children are required to wear the school uniform at All Saints Church of England Primary School; conforming to it overcomes the need to worry about a child’s everyday wardrobe.  It also gives the school an identity of which the children can be proud. It should be worn as intended:  to look smart and to be safe - trousers with flaps and loose decorations should not be worn, for example.

Boys:              Royal blue sweatshirt or fleece

                        White/pale blue polo shirt

                        Grey long or short trousers

Girls:               Royal blue cardigan or sweatshirt or fleece

White blouse or polo shirt (white or pale blue)

Grey skirt or grey trousers or pinafore dress

A blue checked dress may be worn in the summer term

Shoes:           Black school shoes or plain black trainers (no coloured logos).

                        (no open-toed sandals)

Hot Weather: Sun hats are encouraged.

Jumpers, cardigans and other items with the school logo can be bought from Trinity School Wear, who are based in Wigston. Click here to access their website.

PE Kit - Children should come to school in their PE kits on their PE days.

Indoors:          White t-shirt, black or navy shorts and trainers

Outdoors:       Black or Navy Tracksuit or plain joggers and sweatshirt for cold weather and trainers

 Forest School

Plain black or navy tracksuits/ jogging bottoms and jumpers and Wellington boots. The children are outside in all weathers so old clothes are better for Forest School.

The Wearing of Jewellery

Children are not to wear jewellery for school as it can present a danger to themselves and others. If earrings must be worn they should only be studs, and must be removable by the children themselves for PE and swimming. This is a health and safety requirement.

Hair

Hair, which is long enough, must be tied back off the face at all times for safety as well as good hygiene.
